It’s a question I get asked a lot, so I thought I’d write a blog about it. The last thing you want is anxiety at the thought of looking through you wedding photos, so keep in mind that a lot of the time quality > quantity in wedding photography!
There can be doubt when booking a second shooter. Typically you pick a photographer because you like their style and as a result may worry about the second shooter. But every photographer will carefully curate the work of their second shooter, it’s important that their style and quality of work is similar as all of the processing will be done by the primary photographer.
In my opinion the beauty of documentary style wedding photography is the story telling. It cannot be scripted, your day is photographed from start to finish, the story tells itself. Photographs captured this way are special.
